Variant Wishlists is a Shopify app being built to let customers save products as they shop, organize favorites into multiple lists, and share gift ideas with friends and family.
We’re testing Variant Wishlists with a pilot store. Public installation is not available yet. The examples below show the experience we’re building; features may change before launch.

01 / Save it as you shop
A signed-in customer can choose a wishlist from a product page or create a new one when inspiration strikes.
02 / Make room for every interest
Keep collections, birthday ideas, and future purchases in separate lists. Manage saved products from the customer account, move or copy items between lists, and add priorities and notes.
03 / Give better gift ideas
Customers can choose to share a list by link. Friends and family can see the selected products and buy gifts through the retailer’s Shopify checkout. Purchased gift quantities update after payment.

Built for Shopify retailers
Variant Wishlists brings product-page saving and account-based list management together, with appearance settings intended to fit the retailer’s store.
- Customer-account list management uses Shopify’s new customer accounts.
- Product-page buttons require theme app-embed or block setup. Theme compatibility is still being tested.
- Sharing is optional. Recipient delivery is also optional and requires consent because the gift buyer can see the recipient’s address at checkout.
